Q: Should I bring my pet’s own bedding?

A: Yes, you can bring your own bedding. We ask that it is labeled and is machine washable. We are not responsible for lost or damaged bedding.

Q: Can I bring my dog’s favorite toys?

A: You may bring a couple of your dog’s favorite toys. Please be sure any toys are clearly marked with your dog’s name. Toys should be at least 2″ in all dimensions so they don’t get accidentally pushed into the drains. Although we do our best to keep track of them, toys do occasionally get misplaced so please don’t send any family keepsakes.

Q: Is my dog eligible for play group?

A: In order to participate in group activities, dogs must be social with other dogs and those over 7 months of age must be neutered. If your dog shows unfriendly behavior towards other dogs, they will not be able to participate in play groups, but an alternative activity can be chosen for their stay (30 minute walk or 1-on-1 playtime).

Q: How do you determine which dogs will do well together in play group?

A: Our play groups are determined by a dog’s individual needs and personality. Important factors are age, size, weight, temperament and play style. We use ongoing observation to ensure that everyone is enjoying play group.

Q: How many times a day does my dog get outside?

A: All dogs get taken out to exercise runs starting at 6:30 a.m. Depending on weather conditions and how your pet(s) normally spend their day as to the time they are outside. Even when we are full, dogs normally get to remain outside for about 5 1/2 hours a day. They have a covered area or they can lay out in the sun. We always have big buckets of cold water that is replaced regularly throughout the day.

Q: My dog doesn’t like other dogs; can he still come?

A: Yes, we just ask that you let us know so we can reserve a place for them that will ensure they are safe and feel secure.

Q: My dog is a fence climber; do you have facilities to keep him secure?

A: All of our perimeter fencing is 6′ tall and interior fencing is 6′ tall. We need to know, as we keep an extra eye to ensure your pet is safe and remains where we place them. We have installed a complete enclosed outside exercise run, and can accommodate an inside boarding area for your pet.
