Welcome to Freeman Retrievers
We are a full service Training Program in McMinnville, Oregon. We
specialize in training the flushing breed. We train from start
to finish, waterfowl and upland, all levels of Gun Dog training and
AKC Hunt tests. We currently are not breeding, but both purchase and
train dogs for our customers.
Whether field training or gun dog, all the basics start out the same.
Our goal is to teach you and your dog the step by step mechanics of retrieving.
Freeman Retrievers is owned by Randy Freeman. He has the experience necessary to adapt to the learning style of each individual in order to bring out the best in each dog.
Freeman Retrievers limit the numbers of dogs we train in order to maintain the time and quality needed for a customized approach.
In the 30 years Randy has been involved in bird hunting and dog training, he has trained dogs from different walks in life from hunt test retrievers to field trial pointing dogs.
Randy has proven versatility as a dog trainer time and time again with field trial placements.
In addition to Freeman Retrievers, Randy owns and operates a full service grooming, boarding, and day care facility in McMinnville, Oregon, The Pet Stop Inn.
Freeman Retrievers raise Labrador Retrievers and offers hunting, training, boarding and start to finish work.
